Job Description

Position Overview

A busy litigation team is seeking a Contract Attorney to provide immediate support on an active federal matter with a substantial discovery workload, as well as assist with preparation for two upcoming trials.

Attorney must be barred and in good standing with the state of California.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and experienced in federal litigation procedures. You will not be serving as attorney of record, but working behind the scenes with the case team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze large document productions and discovery responses
  • Prepare clear, concise summaries of findings
  • Contribute to trial preparation efforts for upcoming matters
  • Additional tasks within the scope of discovery

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in commercial/business litigation
  • Demonstrated expertise in discovery management and review
  • High level of technical proficiency, including:
    • Nitro (PDF software)
    • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
